Insurance Patients

There are two types of Insurance patients:

  • Individual Policy Holders
  • Corporate Policy Holders
In the case of individual policy holders, for cashless process, the following documents are required:
  • 3 years policy copies
  • ID proof of the patient
  • First consultation paper
  • Third Party Administrator (TPA) ID card
In the case of corporate policy holders, for cashless process, we require:
  • TPA ID card
  • Employee ID card
  • ID proof of the patient

After this, the pre-authorized form of concerned TPA will be sent by the Insurance Department. For initial approval, TPA takes 4-5 hours for processing.

If the concerned TPA gives approval, then the hospital will do cashless. Otherwise, the patient needs to pay cash to the hospital and go for reimbursement.

In case of reimbursement, all the original papers like discharge summary, investigation reports and bills have to be sent to the concerned TPA by the patient, and then the claim will be settled.
